	Computer applications find their way into nearly every career. From basic computer literacy to Network Security, career opportunities in this area continue to expand. College coursework in Computer Information Systems or CIS opens the door for potential careers in database management, networking and telecommunications, systems administration, programming and security administration.	As society and business rely more heavily on computers, new jobs become available in this exciting and creative industry. Mt. San Antonio College offers majors in CIS as well as certificates to prepare students to work with computer systems. Coursework combined with successful completion of general education classes leads to an Associate in Science degree
